Chapter · AI Training
Your team, using AI on Monday. Not inspired on Friday.
A one-day, hands-on programme for the people who produce your documents: tenders, proposals, minutes, reports, job descriptions. They bring their own laptops and their own real work, and they build something during the day that they keep using. Delivered with MFCCI, an accredited HRDC training centre, so Malaysian employers can claim it against their HRD Corp levy.
01 · TRACK A · UNDERSTANDING
AI Awareness, for teams and for leaders
A working understanding of what these tools actually do, where they fail, and what that means for your operation. Two separate tracks, because a team lead and a managing director need different things: one needs to judge when to delegate a task, the other needs to judge what to authorise and what to govern.
No programming, at any point. The vocabulary comes from your business, not from a machine learning course.
What they leave with
- What generative AI is, and the failure modes that matter at work
- When a task should and should not be delegated to an assistant
- Confidentiality: what may be shared, what must be redacted, what never leaves
- Accountability after AI: who signs, who is answerable
- A separate leadership track on governance and authorisation
02 · TRACK B · DOING
Build Your Copilot
Hands-on, on the tools you already pay for. Participants bring their own real documents and leave having built a reusable assistant loaded with their company context, glossary and tone, so the same quality comes back without rewriting the instruction every time.
The target we design against is 30 minutes to an hour of work recovered per person per day. The way you get there is not a trick, it is having built the thing once, properly, with your own material in the room.
What they leave with
- Writing a structured instruction: role, context, constraint, format
- Building and saving a reusable assistant with your company context
- Turning a meeting recording into clean minutes with decisions and owners
- First drafts: job descriptions, client emails, proposal and tender sections
- Reviewing AI output critically before it goes out under your name
- A 30-day action plan each participant writes for themselves
02 · The day
Morning to understand. Afternoon to build.
Seven contact hours, four modules. A participant who leaves having only understood AI has not received value. A participant who leaves having produced, with their own hands, a usable minutes of meeting, a usable job description and a usable proposal section has.
In-house and physical, at your premises. Each person on their own laptop, working on their own non-confidential documents.
Facilitated discussion. Each participant leaves with an inventory of their own tasks that are candidates for assistance.
Demonstration and short drills. Each participant configures a personal assistant and knows the confidentiality rules.
Guided practice on their own material. Output: a usable minutes of meeting and a job description.
Guided practice plus a live demo of what a connected assistant does. Output: a proposal section and a 30-day plan.
03 · Measurement
Attendance is not evidence of competence.
Most training ends with a satisfaction form and a certificate. Ours is measured before, during and after, on our own platform: every participant answers on their phone, the assessments are scored automatically, and the results arrive as a record you can file.
Scores are personal. Each participant sees their own result and nobody else's. There is no leaderboard, and there never will be.
Every participant answers ten questions about their real work, at least five working days ahead. The afternoon exercises are built from those answers. This is the single largest lever on the quality of the day.
Twelve questions, taken on their phone in the room, before anything is taught.
The same twelve questions at the close, so the difference means something. Our criterion: at least 25% average improvement across the cohort, and nobody left below 60%.
Ten rated statements and three open questions from every participant. You get the results, including the individual scores and the verbatim feedback, within five working days.
04 · HRD Corp
Claimable, and documented to survive an audit.
MFCCI, the Malaysian French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is the HRD Corp registered training provider. Trees OS owns and delivers the content. Malaysian employers can claim the programme against their HRD Corp levy.
Groups drawn from several employers can run under SLB, the joint training scheme, which is how a holding company trains people from three subsidiaries in one room.
Attendance registers, assessment scripts and evaluation forms are retained for seven years, as HRD Corp requires. The evidence pack is generated from the same platform the participants answered on, so it matches the records exactly.
05 · Practical
What we need from you.
Who it is for
- Business development and commercial staff
- Proposal, estimation and tender coordinators
- Project and operations engineers
- HR and administration
- Management who approve all of the above
Prerequisites
- Own laptop, charged. Shared laptops do not work for the afternoon
- A working account on one assistant, created and tested before the day, not on it. Free tiers are enough
- Two or three of their own real, non-confidential work documents
- The needs questionnaire returned five working days ahead
- Working English. Trainer support in Bahasa Malaysia
Tell us the entities involved, roughly how many people, and what they spend their week writing. We will come back with a shape and a price.
